Just a Thought

This is just a thought I had this morning.  I received in the mail a new micro phone headset for my laptop.  One of the many vendors at Amazon.com sold it to me for under five dollars with free shipping.  Needless to say I was a bit skeptical since the product was so cheap but since I had used a free Amazon card to pay for it, it was quite free.  And by the way, the Amazon card was earned on Swagbucks.com from my daily searches.  The first and best tip I could possibly give you is to visit that site and take advantage of it.Simply follow my referral link http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/MrDprince  . 

Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that we should always have good equipment to use in whatever endeavors we might employ them in.  That does not mean they have to be expensive, merely good.  So, please keep your PC or laptop in good condition.  Keep your software up to date, but remember sometimes the older editions of software may be the best for you.  Such has been the case for me.

Listen, I know I have not posted much on this website and I apologize.  I have had a very long learning curve, but believe that I am now up to speed.  So please look forward to more content in the near future.

Computer Tip: Change Blogger Size

To change the size of a Blogger or Blogspot page is a relatively simple tip.

1. Click on the Design tab and then click on edit html.  **Remember to backup your te3mplate just in case of a mishap.
2. Scroll down to the section   "Outer Wrapper".  Below a line or a two will be the width size usually around 700 which you can change.  I like 900.
3. Scroll down a little further to  "Main Wrapper".  Same procedure except the original amount is around 450 since it is only the width of the post itself.  Change the value and I recommend 650.

Last preview to make sure it looks the way you want.  If it is then click on  "Save Template".

Computer tip: No Flashing Logo

Here is a new computer tip for those of you who just don't like seeing the Windows flashing logo when you power up your computer.  Take it off and gain a couple extra seconds of speed on startup.  Here is how to do it.

• Go to the start button and click.
• Go to the search box and type :  msconfig
• This will open a screen with several options.  Look in the bottom section for a box item labeled : no gui boot.  Go ahead and check the box.
• Click on Apply
• Now restart your computer

This simple little tip should get rid of the beginning boot screen on your computer and save a few seconds as well.  Until the next computer tip.
